What if what makes the wife happy doesn't make the husband happy? Should he just accept it because she's happy, and it's only her happiness that creates a happy life? That doesn't sound good to me.
I don't doubt that when a wife is happy it can make a husband happy too, but I don't think he should be a slave to her happiness or tolerate something that makes her happy when deep down it doesn't make him happy.
If only one person is happy in a relationship, whether it's the wife or husband, that's a crappy relationship.
Both spouses deserve to be happy in their marriage and in their home.
